1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use Veil if you have previously been removed for serious safety or policy violations unless Veil expressly allows you to return.
2. Your account
Keep your account information accurate and your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Veil. Do not sell, share, transfer or create accounts for deceptive purposes.
3. Acceptable use
Use Veil to interact respectfully and lawfully. You may not harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, scam, stalk or discriminate against others; post illegal, non-consensual, sexually exploitative or infringing content; evade safety systems; scrape the service; or interfere with Veil’s operation.
4. User content
You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Veil a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure and moderate the service, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
5. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
Veil has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Objectionable content includes harassment, threats, hate or discriminatory abuse, sexually explicit or exploitative material, non-consensual intimate content, content that sexualizes minors, scams, impersonation and anything else prohibited by our Community Guidelines. By accepting these Terms you agree not to post or send such content and not to abuse other members.
Content passes through automated filtering. Every member can report any message or member and block any member in the app; reported content is hidden from the reporter immediately. We review every report and act on it within 24 hours by removing the offending content and ejecting the user who provided it. Accounts that violate these rules are permanently removed.

6. Safety and enforcement
Veil may investigate reports and restrict, suspend or terminate accounts or content that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, safety requirements or law. We may preserve evidence when reasonably necessary to investigate serious abuse or comply with legal obligations.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
If Veil offers digital subscriptions or purchases through the App Store, billing, renewal and cancellation are handled through your Apple account subject to Apple’s applicable terms. Features and prices may vary by region and may change as permitted by law.
8. Account deletion
You may initiate account deletion from within the Veil app. See our Account Deletion page for additional information about deletion and retention.
9. Disclaimers
Veil helps people discover and communicate with one another, but we do not guarantee compatibility, identity claims, intentions, conduct, availability or outcomes. Use judgment when interacting online or meeting someone in person and follow the Safety Center guidance.
10. Apple terms
If you download Veil through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement may also apply where incorporated by the App Store or where no custom EULA supersedes it.
